Came in for lunch on a Sunday for the first time. I really enjoyed the chips & white queso dip. I ordered lunch off of the "ala carte" part of the menu. Ordered 3 tacos & a side of rice. The rice was a little dry but tasted good. I liked how the tacos were wrapped separately in foil because I knew I'd be taking one home. To me, the tacos had an authentic Mexican flavor, not real spicy at all. Soft flour tortilla shells with beef, lettuce and cheese. I added a little of my dip to the taco to spice it up a little bit. The frozen strawberry margarita was perfect & I look forward to coming back and trying some other things on the menu with my husband. Pricing is very reasonable and server was pleasant. An overall nice experience.

For an authentic Mexican restaurant, this place doesn't have much flavor. I ordered the fajitas, which were cooked well, but needed a hot sauce punch to make them interesting. I don't know if the chefs are playing to bland American tastes, but they should really add some flavor to their dishes. And I'm not just talking about heat, I'm simply asking for seasoning. Also, I don't know if this person was new or not, but our server didn't know the menu very well and was a bit slow getting us our check. It's a nice looking place and the food was decent once I added a kick, but it's far away from home and I don't think I'll be making the extra effort to return

I really wanted to like this place. It looks nice inside & outside. Got chips & salsa and the salsa had zero flavor, I mean zero. Food came out quick & hot. But it didn't have much flavor at all. Service was terrible. Once the food came out, never saw server again. Had to ask somebody else for refills on chips & drinks. Had to track somebody down for the check. Like another reviewer said, this place could do very well. It needs at lot of help in the kitchen & service areas, which I guess is everything.

Really enjoyed this experience. They were fast and efficient and continuously brought chips and refills. I had the taco salad and while I am a big eater this was definitely filling. Highly recommend.

First visit to the newly opened restaurant, it's located in a small strip mall just a few minutes off the Toll Road and US 31 bypass. Sort of a no-mans land! We were pleasantly surprised by the understated, yet definitely Mexican flavor of the decor. We were seated in a roomy booth in the bar area, which had 4 Tv's tuned into different programming. Our server greeted us promptly and offered up some chips and salsa. We had a half order of freshly made guacamole as an appetizer. I ordered the seafood chimichanga and my husband the enchiladas ranchero. The guacamole had just the right amount of jalapeño to complement the jumbo margarita I ordered. The food was served promptly and was very tasty. Service was good and attentive. We will be back .

got the enchiladas with the cheese sauce. really good. Salsa and chips were just ok. guacamole was a little bland. service was pretty good. really nice on the inside and looks like they have a nice little patio.

The inside decor was quite a surprise-much nicer than I expected. Sadly, that was the best part of the experience. Food was very slow to arrive and when it did it was fairly tasteless except for the overwhelming taste of salt. This place had potential but needs help in the kitchen.

Food is exceptionally average. Asked to be seated at the bar, and they don't even offer a menu. I went to Taco Bell for prompt service and much tastier tacos. I won't be back.

Good food overall. Nice atmosphere. Nice people. Nice bar, although same old problem with bars. 2 tvs in the corners so if your in the middle of the bar you cant really see them. Put 2 tvs in the middle as well instead of you pretty hard alcohol display. oh well. The salsa is terrible. It has less taste than ketchup. every time i go there the group has to add hot sauce pepper salt just to tast the salsa. very odd for a non chain. This biggest problem with the place. Worst service ever. Been there 5 times. Each request takes 3 times to get. Ask for water, your lucky to get it by the time you leave. This is especially at the bar... The people are really nice, but the bar area could have 10 people there and you almost can never see an employee behind the bar or anywhere. The table service not in the bar area might be ok no idea. I hope they read this and take it for constructive criticism.......I like the place just horrible service. I dont think its by effort. Might not have enough people or competent people. not sure. I went there for lunch one day. I was only person in the bar area. Took one full hour to get the burrito eat quickly pay and leave......i will be back. If i have time....

I love the look of this place. The fajitas are amazing. I did get some a la cart options and I was very disappointed. I like the margaritas, they have SO MANY flavors and sizes. Wish they had a bit more kick to em though. Wait staff is a little bit slow though. Perfect place for after work drinks or a quick lunch.

My fiance and I dined at this restaurant on Friday, March 6, and this morning, March 9, he tried to use his debit card to get gas, and it was declined. He checked his bank account, and was shocked to see that this restaurant charged his debit card for $811.42. Our bill that night, including tip, was $61. After having to argue with the restaurant owner over the phone, since I was at work, he agreed to refund $750.42. He said that was all he could do, and was very rude about it. I then went in person to the restaurant after work to obtain a copy of this "refund" receipt. He claimed he didn't know when the money would be back in our account, and that there was nothing he could do about it. I then told him that I didn't want to be charged for the meal, and wanted a refund for that also, because I didn't go to this place to eat and then give them $750 from my account. He basically told me I was looking for a free meal. So now I am stuck with no money in my account, and anything that comes out automatically from my checking account will bounce, leaving me with overdraft fees, and an owner who couldn't even apologize for his fraudulent actions. I hope this doesn't happen to any other innocent customers. He clearly has no control of his business if an $800 mistake can go unnoticed. This business STOLE $811 from my checking account. PLEASE pass this on so this doesn't happen to other innocent customers.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
